Quick Sketch & Soil TestingSeptember 12, 10am-2pm
2013-11-09 12.01.15We are proud to offer this free service by our own professional in-house landscape designers. SIGN UP FOR YOUR 20 MINUTE SESSION. Pick an area in your yard that needs attention, let our experts draw a quick sketch of the area and give you ideas for plants and design. Bring 4-5 pictures of your small area, measurements and sun hours.

Soil TestingSeptember 12, 10am-2pm
Fall is the best time for planting and getting your soil ready for a healthy spring and summer.  Get your soil tested here! Dig about 2 inches deep from 4 or 5 locations in your yard.  You can separate your samples – one baggie for your garden and one for your lawn.  Your soil should not be too wet. Bring in your samples for an instant analysis and some great advice.

Small Space Gardening & Landscaping September 19, 10am

Colors and textures abound for small spaces!  Southern Living Plant Collection Expert Mark Maher will be here to discuss trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials for small yards and gardens.  Even if your spaces are large, small space gardening is for you! Join the fun with they whole family! Meet real fairies and get your picture taken with them.  Enter the Fairy Gardening Contest – (see below), wear your favorite fairy (or gnome) outfit for the fun of it.  What will you find in the first ever Fairy Treasures Hunt?  Learn tea time etiquette and drink tea with Miss Fairy Manners.  Enjoy fun games and crafts.  (See schedule below)

You know how fabulous your fairy garden is but the only ones that get to see it are your friends on Facebook?  Well, now’s the time to SHOW IT OFF!
BE CREATIVE!  Win a $50 gift card and other prizes!
Show off your creation! From a micro house to fairies living in a wheel barrow garden, bring your fairy garden in and set it up from 10am-11:30am. Judging will be at 12:00 by a panel of fairy garden lovers.  Judges will deliberate on which container gardens they think fairies and gnomes would most likely love to live. Winners announced at 12:30.  Prizes and ribbons will be awarded!
Categories for Fairy Garden Judging:
8 years old and under
9-16 year old
17+ year old
Each category will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!
