Fescue – $2.75 per piece, $350.00 per pallet (pallets must be pre-ordered)
Cool season grass – looks good in spring and fall. Not very drought tolerant, will take light shade. Must aerate and over-seed each year. Does not spread. Year round green but can look brown in summer.
Bermuda – $2.75 per piece, $350.00 per pallet (pallets must be pre-ordered)
Goes dormant in the winter. Drought tolerant, heat tolerant, spreads, does not need to be reseeded. Full sun.
Tiftuf Bermuda – $3.50 per piece, $450.00 per pallet (pallets must be pre-ordered)
This new variety take a bit more shade (needs at least 6-8 hours of full sun) and holds it’s deep green color longer. Goes dormant in the winter. Drought tolerant, heat tolerant, spreads, does not need to be reseeded. Full sun.
Zoysia – $3.50 per piece, $450.00 per pallet (pallets must be pre-ordered)
Heat and drought tolerant, goes dormant in winter. Can take light shade. Spreads but little slower than Bermuda. Does not need reseeding.
• Jamur has the thin texture of Meyer but darker green color.
• Zeon has the dark green color of Fescue as well as a fine, dense texture reminiscent of Bermuda.
Centipede – $2.75 per piece, $350.00 per pallet (pallets must be pre-ordered)
Goes dormant in winter. Can take a little shade. Very slow growing and slow spreading. Doesn’t need much fertilizer. Somewhat more cold tolerant than St. Augustine.
Pine Straw – 1 bale will cover 40 square feet
Wheat straw – 1 bale will cover 350 square feet
Pine Bark/Mulch – 1 bag will cover 12 square feet
