Tomorrow is the debut of a museum highlighting the life and career of Pete Pike, founder of Pike Family Nursery, and will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association! The Pete Pike Museum, a newly built addition to the garden center, spans the life to-date of Pete Pike in photographs and historical artifacts covering his childhood on a farm, his service in the Navy and the founding of Pike Family Nursery.
Visitors can get a first glimpse of the Pete Pike Museum during a day-long fall festival tomorrow Oct. 19 that will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. The event, now in its second year, will include a raffle, gardening and cooking demonstrations, music food and activities for families. The Family Tree Garden Center will donate a portion of all sales from the day and all raffle proceeds to the Alzheimer’s Association. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Join us tomorrow!
