I thought this place was just plants but my mom told me to check out the gift shop after I bought my new house.  There were 2 ladies there that were so helpful. The gift shop is amazing! I love the fun things I found for my mantle and family room walls. So fun! Since I have a brown thumb I didn’t really care about the greenhouse but my husband thinks its the greatest place ever. While he’s shopping for the outside, I get to shop for the inside. Win, win. Thanks Family Tree! – Amber W

This is my new happy place! So many gorgeous plants and flowers. I could spend all day browsing through everything. I even got some decorating ideas for my new kitchen! Knowledgeable staff and friendly people at every turn. What a great way to spend my Saturday morning. I will be back again and again! – Erin J

Everyone there is so helpful and willing to take the time and talk to you about both plants and your garden designs. – Ruth B

Stopped by on my way to “that other place” in Loganville.  I had never been here before.  It is so much bigger than I expected it to be. The greenhouse was a sight for sore eyes.  I enjoyed just walking around looking at all the pretty plants.  They have some really cool ones that I have never seen before and I know you can’t find them anywhere around here.  Everyone in a purple shirt spoke to me. It was nice.  I ended up buying my spring flowers here and I can’t wait to plant them.  The cashier even offered to plant them for me!! Well, not her, but their landscape team would do it.  GREAT place.  I’m so glad I stopped in. – Jan S.

Located in the old Pike Nursery location, the garden center is more than just plants and shrubs. Tons of things for the garden, bird feeders, wind chimes and accessories galore! Decent prices and a super nice and helpful staff! — Wendy T.

Nice garden center with LOTS of variety to choose from. The layout is well planned, open aired, and pleasing to peruse. Prices are higher than the competing home chain stores but The Family Tree seems to offer better quality goods and service.

It’s worth a look! — Dwayne H.

After the Pike Family sold the family empire, one of the Pike kids and her husband opened this beautiful, local, family business.  In fact, you will almost always see Pete “Papa” Pike rolling up his sleeves and helping around the store.  He looks like a proud grandfather who can play hard with the grandkids and give them back to go home and get a good night’s sleep!  How cool it must be to see Dana and Jeff continuing the legacy he started so long ago.  The Pikes have been a well loved and respected family in the Atlanta area for over 50 years.  It would appear they hand picked their best employees  from the current Pike stores to go “play in the dirt again” with the Pikes.  I’m willing to drive from Cumming to support this local treasure.  It’s a quintessential second generation family business…perfect. — Kris K.
I love going to this place…great plants and other stuff to look at. Great assortment of plants. — Kathy H.
Love this place- the staff is friendly and knowledgeable plus the quality of their plants is superb. — Jenny C.
A great place. They are incredible in how quickly they can change things around season to season and holiday to holiday. You don’t see the same thing twice. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. — Laura M.
